近日，随县万和镇兰花新区村以种植兰花致富的曹元和妻子正在向客人介绍兰花种植、管理经验。他家现种兰花一千多盆，二OO四年一株卖了十五万元。今年虽然行情走低，一株也能卖到二千元，收入仍十分可观。
