随州二中学生谭涵秋被美国大学录取

随州二中高三学生谭涵秋收到了美国弗吉尼亚州立联邦大学人文与科学学院数学系的录取通知书，通知她今年8月到校报到。
谭涵秋考入二中后，学习勤奋，二中开放的办学思想和外教的帮助，为她创造了良好的英语学习环境，英语成绩突飞猛进。2012年，谭涵秋在老师和家长的支持下参加了托福、SAT和雅思考试，都未能通过。今年3月谭涵秋终于顺利通过了雅思，被美国弗吉尼亚州立联邦大学录取。
据了解，随州二中是全市唯一的一所具有办理出国留学资质的外国语高级中学，自2010年建立国际合作部以来，已有60多位同学出国留学深造。
