随州东护城河将不再承担排污功能

据介绍，随城护城河是我市目前为数不多的地面历史遗存地段之一。通过综合治理工作，对淤泥可见的河段须清除至硬底，对占据河道的垃圾和临时建筑予以清除，保证沿岸持续保持清洁状态。目前，相关部门正在制订改造实施方案，该项工程将作为内河治理工程项目向上申报。治理后，东护城河主要功能为历史遗迹和城市防洪，不再承担排污功能。
