拉查尔称,Linux各版本之间的矛盾仍然阻止Linux的全面普及。例如,Linux拥有两个GUI(图形用户界面)KDE和Gnome,表面上是为用户提供了选择余地,但事实上让用户更加混淆。
而且,每个GUI下又有不同的Linux版本,不同的版本又拥有不同的操作方式,进一步增加了混淆性。
有些Linux厂商在极力模仿Windows,试图吸引Windows用户,但未能如愿以偿。拉查尔说:“至少在五年内, Linux仍是一款小众产品。”
