iPhone天线事件爆出后，苹果成为众多手机厂商同行的嘲笑对象，摩托罗拉今天在《纽约时报》刊登了巨幅广告宣传自己的Droid X，顺便嘲笑iPhone，广告称：“最重要的是，它采用双天线设计”，”让您用任何方式持有都保持通话清晰“。Droid X将在Verizon运营，它虽然分辨率较低，但却有比竞争对手大得多的屏幕。
