微软今天发布了新款数据库软件SQL Server 2008 R2的第一个公开测试版，不过暂时仅提供给MSDN和TechNet订户。SQL Server 2008 R2开发代号“Kilimanjaro”(非洲最高峰乞力马扎罗山)，是现有SQL Server 2008的过渡性升级版。微软官员曾在今年初预告说，会在夏天的某个时候放出社区预览版(CTP)，而SQL Server项目负责人Jason Coombes刚刚在Twitter上公布：“SQL Server 2008 R2企业评估版和免费个人版的CTP版本已经放到了MSDN上。”
