现在这款发动机已经装备到福特若干新车型中，比如Edge，Fiesta等均会配备。而这次在欧洲推出的是2.0升涡轮增压型EcoBoost的汽油版Mondeo。变速器方面装备六速的PowerShift双离合自动变速器，这已经是标准装备，这台发动机最大功率可达151千瓦，最大扭矩达到300牛米。以往情况下这种级别的发动机百公里油耗为9.5升，而在EcoBoost技术之下的发动机获取同样动力只需百公里7.7升，油耗降低是非常显著的，百公里加速仅需要7.9秒，这是相当出色的成绩。
